I was brought to my clan as a joke -- this, I know because Lady Isolde would take every chance to make sure that I did, often pretending that she was casually mentioning it to her daughter, Lady Polgara whenever I passed them. How she knows, I do not know. Nor do I know why she feels the need to make sure that I do not forget. It is Pearlcatcher nature, my love says, and I try to believe it, though the concept is so foreign to me. What is there to gain by tearing down such an insignificant dragon as myself?
